This restomod is a stunner, a coddler, and a driver. That's why you'll find this Nova fun for far more than just the occasional ice cream run. So it's nice to have a few years and a few miles under a caring owner who takes the time to dial-in these modifications. This has a lot of upgrades with the LS1 motor, an upgraded front suspension, QA1 coilovers, an overdrive transmission, and more. There's only about 23,500 miles on the full build and that seems ideal. It was built with real driving in mind, and so you have a four-speed automatic transmission, Flaming River rack & pinion power steering, power brakes, and drilled & slotted front discs. And as you look through the engine bay, you'll notice nice components everywhere from the Optima red top battery to the headers. And it certainly has the look, power, and rumble of a well-done performance powerhouse. We're told it came out of a low mileage car and then rebuilt with a hotter cam before going into this Nova. At the center is a 5.7-liter LS1 fuel-injected V8 borrowed from a first-year final-gen GTO. The smooth inner walls and copper-colored covers make sure the engine bay is ready to be displayed. The Grant GT sports steering wheel is on a tilt column, and so that means a good view to the AutoMeter Sport-Comp gauges. You also have an AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input, cup holders, and cold-blowing air conditioning. The center console with floor shift is borrowed from a 4th gen Camaro. The seating is out of a 2004 Pontiac GTO, including the well-contoured front bucket seats. You can tell it's something different by the more modern upgrades. And the Torq Thrust wheels have a red line trim to draw added attention to the 18/20-inch front/rear sporty stance. You see it in the crystal-clear headlights and the cowl hood with subtle LS1 callouts. And there are also the right well-integrated upgrades to announce this is an upgraded classic. It has nice classic details like the big chrome bumpers, SS grille, and a clean look to the sporty profile. It's impressive, but not too fancy to drive, and that seems to be this restomod's overall theme.
